Omar is a creative director and multidisciplinary designer, born in Illinois and raised on the beaches of Alexandria, Egypt. With over a decade of creative experience and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, he bridges strategy and aesthetics—building brands that are as thoughtful as they are striking.

When he’s not designing, he’s navigating the joyful chaos of life with his two sons, a mischievous cat, and a wife he adores. Off the clock, you’ll find him lifting weights, playing guitar, or proving he’s still got it on the soccer field.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Inspired by the geometry of ancient Egyptian art and the rhythmic patterns of arabesque design, this mark reinterprets timeless symmetry through a modern, minimalist lens.

The symbol merges the O and I (eye) from my first and middle names—Omar Ibrahim—forming both an eye and a monogram. In Egypt, individuals are often known or called by their first and middle names, so OI naturally became part of my identity.

Beyond its typographic roots, the form subtly evokes the scarab, a symbol of rebirth in ancient Egypt. It reflects both my heritage and my personal journey of transformation—harmonizing tradition and modernity, heritage and self-expression.

The design is built entirely from circles, referencing the research by design thinkers like Sagmeister & Walsh — that the circle is the most beautiful and complete geometric form. Beyond beauty, it represents origin and continuity: nearly all forms in nature and design emerge from circular geometry.

In essence, the mark is a visual statement of my approach: clarity, balance, and timeless form — where beauty, function, and identity coexist within one unified shape.
